4 hour Workshop £140

Super-talented Leela Chakravarti throws, sculpts, and decorates with a whole spectrum of techniques.

In this workshop, she will share her joyful slip printing technique using stencils and slip decals and guide you in making a set of six coasters of your own design.

The coasters will be biscuit fired and then sealed with a silicone based sealant. This makes them waterproof but doesn't add shine.

This will be a small group (max 8) gathering in our light and friendly Dartmoor studio.

Come and be inspired & meet up with other potters. Bring your Clay Mates!

Refreshments will be provided (or you can arrive early and queue to buy bread/pastries at the Van du Pain in Moretonhampstead Square).

N.B. No fired work is included but it may be possible to leave your piece at Vessel Ceramics to be biscuit fired and collected later for an extra charge of 2p per g.

Refreshments are provided. Lunch can be bought locally.

Payment:

There is a non-refundable* and non-transferrable £60 deposit at the point of booking with the balance of fees due 3 weeks before the course starts.

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance in the event that you cannot attend.

ACCOMMODATION:

Vessel Ceramics is nestled in the heart of Moretonhampstead, ancient stannary town on Dartmoor. There are numerous, lovely places to stay though as it is a tourist destination, it’s advisable to book as early as possible.
