One Day Masterclass £210
A rare opportunity to learn from internationally collected ceramicist Mitch Pilkington.
Mitch will share her method of using a mold former to help you sculpt your own ‘pod’.
All materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own tools. Please bring an apron, sketchbook and pen.
About Mitch:
Mitch is a selected member of the Crafts Potters Association and Contemporary Applied Arts and has been featured in the US magazine Ceramics Monthly.
She was invited to be part of 'One Year In' at New Designers and Rising Stars at The New Ashgate Gallery and was awarded Rising Star of 2019. Ceramic Review listed her as One to Watch and she was selected for Ceramic Art London.
In 2022, she graduated from Bath School of Art and Design with an MA Fine Art (Ceramics). Her work is currently exhibited in some great British galleries.
She has taken part in various exhibitions including Collect and continues to develop and make her work for her galleries, private commissions and overseas clients.
For the past two years, she has also enjoyed mentoring recent Graduates at New Designers.

N.B. No fired work is included but it may be possible to leave your piece at Vessel Ceramics to be biscuit fired and collected later for an extra charge of 2p per g.
Refreshments are provided. Lunch can be bought locally.
Payment:
There is a non-refundable* and non-transferrable £100 deposit at the point of booking with the balance of fees due 3 weeks before the course starts.

ACCOMMODATION:
Vessel Ceramics is nestled in the heart of Moretonhampstead, ancient stannary town on Dartmoor. There are numerous, lovely places to stay though as it is a tourist destination, it’s advisable to book as early as possible.
